River Roar weekend and St. Stan's

This weekend is River Roar weekend. The buzz of the boats racing on the river started about 9am this morning. The event started Friday and runs through today. The banks of the river were packed with people yesterday as we drove across the bridge. We're not much into the river races, but this weekend is also St. Stan's festival which we will probably go to. We need to get our canival food fix, like polish sausages smothered in peppers and onions on a bun, elephant ears and funnel cakes. YUM!

With all the festivities and living so close to the river there are planes fly over our house every 5-10 minutes with advertising banners which is kind of cool. They must be having helicopter rides also since one keeps landing in the park behind the house, which is getting kind of annoying. After several take offs and landings we begin to flip the helicopter the bird, today I might just mood the noisey bastards.

The plane flying over the house.

Close up of the banner: Deja Vu Showgirls courtesy of our local stripper bar in Saginaw. Nice...I guess thats family values for ya. lol

This morning pics

Here's a pic taken this morning of my plants on the front porch.

These are the strawberries that I picked this morning. Haven't really collected enough to use for shortcake or anything but they are excellent in my morning cereal.

weekend recap

Spent this weekend working on siding. Finished up the soffit's on the highest part of the back of the house. Yea! Glad that shit is done. In order to do this I had to harness myself and then tie a rope to a nearby tree and then scale down the side of the lower roof. With out the harness I would of just slid off the lower roof. Fun Fun.

Also worked in the yard a bit pulling weeds. Made a bench along the side of the fence for our upcoming 3rd of July party so people can peer over the fence and people watch. Also pulled out the extension ladder and trimmed up the tree branches that were getting near the power lines. We took a break in the old metal glider in the back corner of the yard. Scooby layed his head on my leg and that got me aroused. So I unbuttoned my shorts and he sucked my cock. I love outdoor sex. The feel of the breaze on my face and body and Scooby's warm mouth gliding up and down on my hard cock was too awesome. I fed him good with a big load.

Saturday evening we went to a friends place for a cookout. They made margaritas that were potent as hell. I had two and then had to switch to beer, so I could bring the buzz down a bit. Then Sunday we headed to Midland to my dad's place and we took him out for lunch for fathers day. Then I worked on his yard a bit speading mulch around his trees ect.. After that we headed to K-Mart to buy shorts that were on sale. Scooby only had one pair that he could wear to work since the rest were all cut offs. So I bought him 3 pairs and myself a pair. I've lost about 10 lbs. since last year and most of mine don't fit anymore.

Then we headed to Mt. Pleasant to hang out with a friend of ours who lives on his grandparents farm. The place is too cool with out buildings which are filled with a treasure trove of old stuff. Scooby found a green Fire King mixing bowl that was in mint condition. Our friend really doesn't know much about antiques so we point out stuff to him that is worth money. We stayed for dinner and then headed home around 10pm. He gave me some trumpet vines that I planted this morning, hopefully they will survive.

And thats about it. Needless to say this weekend was very busy.

Lost in translation

Does anyone that reads this blog understand Chilian/Spanish? I've been getting messages from this guy in Chile from my Hi5 page, but can't understand most of what he's saying. I have a hard enough time with English let alone another language. Does Chile have their own language or do they speak Spanish? HELP!

Here are the messages I've recieved:

hermosos ojos, como para perderse en ellos, felicidades, ALONSO

Ok I know that "ojos" is Spanish for eyes so I would guess that he's commenting me on my eyes. I also get that his name is Alonso. I emailed him back saying that I don't speak Spanish and this is what I got next.

yo tampoco hablo mucho ingles, pero creo que eso no es importante, ALONSO

something something "much English", something something "not important",

I'm totally lost...

Weekend recap

I've been trying to cut out/down on the caffeine. Haven't had coffee since Thursday and I'm dragging ass. But I haven't had to take xanax to get to sleep either which is a good thing. The Xanax use goes in spurts, I go for a week or two being able to get to sleep without it. Then a week on because I can't get to sleep. ARRGG!

Yesterday I actually took a nap for an hour and felt some what refreshed. This was an odd feeling cuz first of all I normally can't sleep during the day let alone feel refreshed if I do.

I also was going to try and quit drinking this weekend. I don't drink alot mind you, normally a couple of 40 oz. beers sometimes three. Friday I didn't have anything. Saturday I had to run to the store for hamburger buns and couldn't resist and picked up a couple 40's. Drank half of one on Saturday along with a couple of peachtini's and half a bottle of Hungarian red wine (my fav). Then Sunday I finished the rest of the first 40, which I think induced my nap that afternoon along with the fumes from the bathtub reglazing we had done that morning/afternoon. It looks beautiful btw. That night we went to a friends to watch Brokeback Mountain (I know, finally), and there I had a couple of shots of 1800 Tequila with a 12 oz. beer chaser. I caught bits and pieces of the movie since everyone kept talking through it.

We got all kinds of events going on this Summer. The Tall ships are returning the end of July and either the weekend before or after is the Bike bash. Can't wait to see all the studds on their motorcycles. WOOF!

Here is a pic of our bathtub with its new shiny finish. Pretty pretty.

This is the really cool flooring that we found under the tub when we first moved it a few months ago.

Summer plans and Scooby goes to the Dr.

Well we've decided that we're going to go to leather weekend at Camp It in July. Its been a year or two since we've been camping. Thought we'd go and check out all the changes to the campground. You have to give them credit, they've been doing alot to update the place with a pool and new shower rooms and all. I still miss the dirty little place it use to be though and picking the drunk drag queens out of the mud puddles.

We're also planning our annual 4th of July Party. Except this year the big fireworks night is going to be on Monday the 3rd, so I guess you can call it a 3rd of July Party. This year we're planning on having a keg also along with the 15 gallons of cocktails in the drink machine. OIY

And last but not least, We've decided to go for Southern Decadence down in NOLA on Labour Day weekend. I got an excellent deal with Airtran and we're supposed to stay with the Crisco Kid while we're down there. It's been years since we flew. It'll be nice to be there the same day though instead of the two day car ride. Plus no harrassing Mississippi police.

After a couple of years of me bitching, complaining and hand holding, Scooby has finally went back to the Doctor. His t-cells were about 200 and viral load was 45,000. Now he's back on meds and back to being sick and throwing up. I really don't know how to feel about this.

UPDATE: Scooby only threw up the first day and thinks the side effects aren't too bad compared to past drug therapies.

And the answer is

C. A Lean Cuisene pizza

Congrats Drub for the right answer. I'm offering myself for the prize, you can do with me what you will.

This pizza has been sitting out behind my building at work for at least a couple of months, rain or shine it doesn't get any worse for wear. As the story goes the department head stuck it in the microwave for 9 minutes instead of the recommended 3-4 minutes and voila....charcoal. I do not recommend this as it did ruin the microwave. The crap that shot out of the back of the microwave permanently soiled the wall with a yellow substance that I can not scrub off with any type of cleaner. So there you have it the story behind the black blob of crap.

Return of the Cop

I was on the computer Monday on Gay.com which is normally a big yawn. But I got IM'ed from someone without a pic, of course. I'm thinking its probably a bot, but when I'm bored I occasionally humor myself and answer back.

Unknown person: Hey how have you been?
Me: good
Unknown: Was thinking of stopping by today.
Me: Do I know you?
Unknown: I'm the cop
Me: Oh hey, well come on over

So a little while later he shows up and we head right for the bedroom and get to business. He goes right into the talk.

Cop: You want this cock don't you.
Me: yes
C: Suck it!
Me: mfmhph
C: Lick my balls! yeah thats good.
C: Jack your cock! Show it to me! yeah
C: You want to cum don't you!
Me: yeafph
C: You'll cum when I tell you!

Then something new happens... He leans down and starts to suck my cock. Thinking of the traffic tickets I've gotten in the past, I grab his head and with reckless abandon take all my past agressions out on his mouth. I get close and pull out. He orders me to cum on him and I do. Then I'm back to sucking his cock again. He orders me to stop and holds my head down on his cock and he blows stream after stream, filling my mouth with his hot spunk. My head pressed against his stomach my forehead gets smeared with my own spent seed. I lick him clean and we get dressed and he leaves.

And that was my Monday, how was yours?

What is it?

A. A crashed UFO
B. A cowpie (Cow turd)
C. A Lean Cuisine Pizza
D. A Mushroom
E. Your guess

Next post:The answer and Return of the cop.

The end of Iris season

Here are a couple of my iris plants. When I first got my house my parents gave me the purple ones, now I have them scattered through out the yard. This year they weren't as bountiful as they usually are. Normally the front fence is peppered with them.

The yellow ones were here when I moved in but everything was so overgrown that they didn't bloom for several years.

Mr. BC sighting

I think I saw "BC" Saturday morning at the flea market. It has been a year or two and he was a bit older and little more frumpier, no mustache, but still had those peircing eyes. That's what made me think it was him.

Would I still do him....fuck yeah! We made eye contact several times, hopefully he got the hint that I'm still around and still interested. He was busy talking to several people so I didn't approach him. I'm hoping that he'll be down again next Saturday so I can slip him my #.

Man I would kill just to get another glimpse of his big fuckin horse cock.....

Equal opportunity lust machine

I haven't mentioned him yet but we've had a real hot guy working on our air conditioning at work lately. He's short with a tight body and fucking ruggedly handsome. He's been in at least once a week for the last three weeks. Today I was watching him walk out to his work van and thought, man I'd like to eat his ass and lick the sweat off his balls, lick his whole fuckin body for that matter.... Lust lust lust...

I love men! I love summer when the men are all shirtless. I love shirtless guys in trucks, like the one I saw drive by today. Furry, smooth, tall, short, lightly tanned, pale and pasty, tattoo'd or not, I fuckin love em all.

I'm an equal opportunity lust machine.

weekend recap

Sunday we had about 14 people over for a BBQ that never happened. I made potato and pasta salad, a relish tray and deviled eggs while Scooby was suppose to do the BBQ'ing. Well he ended up putting hotdogs in the steamer and the burgers never happened. It ended up getting into the 90's and was hotter than hell. Just a few days before we were freezing. Guess spring was cancelled.

Had one guy at the party talk shit about one of my best friends and his BF talked shit about New Orleans even though he knows its our favorite city. I wish shit like that didn't bother me so much. But I guess thats just how Queens are, they like to get their jabs in when ever they can. I'm beginning to think that maybe I don't have social anxiety, maybe I just don't like most people. I need to check into seeing a counceler or something. I also think that maybe I should stop partying.

I made a crack at the party that, "When I was young I wanted to travel and see the world, now I have to be sedated just to leave the house". Sad but mostly true.

Also heard rumours that the city is thinking about putting in a turn lane in front of our house. Apparently they talked to other neighbors about the plans but not me. Odd, but since it would take out my front yard and drastically lower my property value, is it any wonder they haven't mentioned it to me. God I just want to get this house finished so we can put the fucker up for sale.

Well if you haven't noticed yet I'm in a crappy mood, but tomorrow is another day.

Our stairway

Here are some pics of our stairway that Scooby built. The first is the rough in build. Second is the finished product from the ground floor. Then the last is from the top looking down to the landing. The woodwork on the walls were made of luan and MDF (Multi densitiy fiberboard) to save on money. Thats why its all been painted.

The weekend was busy and hectic. I'll try and post more on that later.

Freaks at Church

Rule #1 Never do acid on Sunday.

This is another digitally enhanced photo of me pasted on a pic of a church in NOLA. Don't worry, I haven't done acid since my early 20's, but the title sounded appropriate.

Nothing much to say

God here it is Thursday and I haven't posted anything since Monday. Nothing much is happening. Having about 16 people over on Sunday and BBQing. Tomorrow I have a date with a guy that I haven't played with in over a year. Hopefully he will still like to ride my face like the good ole days.

Heard on the radio that there was a fire a couple of days ago on the east side of town. So will probably drive over there and gawk at the remains. Don't know if there was more than one fire or not, a lady at work said she heard there was one on the west side of town said it took out 5 buildings. YIKES! We don't have local tv programming and don't get the newspaper so we kind of live in the dark around here, unless someone tells us something or we hear it on the radio.

Tomorrow after I get home from the date, seeing the fire remains and paying the mortgage, I'm thinking about hitting the neighborhood straight bars and getting a little wasted. Got several within walking distance. Or maybe I'll spend the afternoon in the backroom of the dirty bookstore. I hear that it can be pretty busy on a holiday weekend.

Hope everyone has a Great Memorial weekend. Don't know if I'll post anything tomorrow or not.

Mike's Whip

After listening to Ben's Whip on Mark Weigle's Versatile/Soulsex CD. And watching a documentary about the Black Plague and a group called the Flagellants that went around whipping themselves with cat of nine tails to atone for there sins. I've decided to experiment.... I just won these on Ebay and am patiently waiting there arrival. Scooby already expressed an interest in whipping me, but I think I want to start out slow... by myself...if at all.

I know, I'm a freak. Maybe not a freak, but a freak in training....

Mr. Poo guardian of the stairway

This is our kitty Mr. Poo which is short for Mr. Puddyson. He's lost 6 lbs. within the last year. He used to be a stoic floor duster at 23 lbs. Now at 17 lbs. he's feirce and chock full of energy. You really can't tell in this pic though, can ya. He just had his breakfast so he's taking it easy. I wish I was a cat.

Not much else to report this morning. Still no Abby.

No word

I still haven't heard back from Dear Abby. Scooby said that he would page me if she did call. I guess that this is another reason added to the list of why I should get a cell phone. Personally I don't like to talk on the phone that much and besides I cringe everytime I get my land line bill as it is. Cell phones are a luxury item that I do not need nore want, as of yet.

In other news....

We started planning a BBQ for Sunday May 28 of Memorial weekend. We planned on just a few close friends. Well the list is up to 16 so far. A little bit bigger of a bbq then we thought but the more the merrier. Scooby's planning on having the drink machine going. We've decided on Lynchburg lemonade (whisky/lemonade) but not sure on how much to make yet.

This weekend we continued to install the beadboard wainscotting on the walls of the back porch/ summer living area. Its still to cold to move out there but it should warm up soon enough. A fucking Starling made a nest in one of my spider plants that I had hanging on the front porch. Beat the shit out of the poor plant. I had to bring them in anyway since its been so rainy and cold for the last week. Does anyone know of anything I could put in it to keep the birds out? Scooby said a christmas ornament might work. So I'll probably try that when I go to put them out again.

Oh I almost forgot. Sugar daddy came up this weekend to pick up the porch posts that he bought from Scooby. He also had him recover a little bench that he's going to sell in his Antique booth. He brought us both a 5th of liquour. YEA! Then he started bitching about his family. Then we went out to eat at our favorite pizza place. We sat there for about 5 minutes before the girl behind the counter told us that they have no wait staff anymore and that we could just place our order with her. Well that sent SD into a tizzy. He started in with, "Why couldn't she of told us this sooner....if I were you I'd complain to your friend the owner...." blah blah blah on and on until I asked if he'd like a Xanax.

SD and his boyfriend are planning to retire to Tucson and SD wants us to move there too. I'm kind of indifferent to the idea since I grew up there I'd at least know the area or at least what it was some 20 yrs. ago. Scooby on the other hand is totally against it. "Its too hot there" is his complaint and well yes during the summer it is really hot. I always joke when SD says, "But its a dry heat" I'll retort, "Yeah dry like the inside of an oven." But anyway they bitched back and forth till I just blocked both of them out.

By the time we got out of there I wasn't in the mood for sex and had decided that I wasn't giving SD a bj. We went back and watched porn and he slurped on us for a bit. He watched us get off then he had to take off. As he was walking out the door he hands us both 100 bucks. All I could think was if he'd of gave me this a couple of hours ago I would of gave him a bj. I know, I know, I'm terrible, but I need some kind of inspiration, when I'm in a crappy mood.

Celebrity phone call

Last Thursday conversation with the bf after I got home from work.

Scooby: Oh Dear Abby called today!
Me: No way, it was probably one of her people.
Scooby: Well she said SHE WAS Dear Abby.
Me: No Way! I only emailed her a couple of weeks ago about my falling out with my nieces. Did she say she was going to call back.
Scooby: No, she didn't say, but I told her that you work at 4pm.
Me: Dam, But I go to work at 3 on Fridays.
Scooby: Sorry I wasn't thinking, I was just blown away that she called.
Me: Dam

So I didn't get online Friday in hopes she would call and nothing. Did the same today and still nothing. She will probably call tomorrow when I'm gone all day. Dam, dam, dam. Honestly I didn't expect to hear from her. The online site said not to expect a response since they are bombared with letters daily and that she can't answer all the mail.

But then again the falling out with my religous neices because I'm gay is a current and happening issue I suppose. Here's a run down of the letter that I sent.

Dear Abby,

Earlier this year I came out to my two very religous adult nieces. I never hid the fact that I was gay, it just wasn't discussed. They told me that they would never except me as a homosexual, quoting several bibles passages condemning me to Hell for my actions and gave me several organizations that would correct my problem.

I have been with my partner for 9 yrs. and they know this. I was very upset that they would suggest that I leave my partner to be straight. I emailed them back an overly dramatic letter stating all their flaws and sins including that another of my siblings suggested that I have a Will drawn up to protect my partner.

Now their angry with my sibling for suggesting that I have a Will drawn up. I've tried to patch things up, but all I get is "I'm the evil person and their the victims". Now we are no longer speaking. I've been HIV for the last 10 yrs. and my health isn't the greatest, and this isn't helping matters.

I have support from friends and other family members. Is it ok to cut the ones that condemn me out of my life or should I continue to try to reach out to them.

Signed, Distraught in MI

If this happens to get printed, would someone let me know and send me the printing. I don't get the newspaper daily and could possibly miss it. I probably missed my chance when I missed the phone call, I haven't a clue.

Self

Digitally enhanced photo of myself I took about 10 yrs ago.

Despite of my rage I'm still just a rat in a cage

As of late I've been listening to the local hard rock station....alot. Bored with all my CD's and other stations I decided to go back to....my roots? I don't know if you can call them roots but I listened in the past.

Last night I heard one of my favorite Smashing Pumpkin songs. One that I haven't heard in a long time. I immediately started dancing around and doing evil poses. I ended up in the bathroom stripping in front of the mirror.

Then I realized, Holy shit...I'm at work....

I might need to cut back on the marinol. NOT!

Local weekend drama

Saturday we got up and met our friend Thurston at the flea market. This has become a tradition for us during the summer. This time though things or people seemed to be odd or odder than normal. First we notice this young guy going to each vendor and asking them if they were the ones that called the police. Each time the other person told the guy, "no". We then started thinking, "OK, whats going on?"

We were about 3/4 of the way through when I over heard another conversation. This time it was a couple that were selling popcorn and ice cream. This girl with a cell phone was walking past them and the popcorn woman said to the cell phone girl, "You better just mind your own business and keep your trap shut!"

We then finished looking at all the crap and went next door to the market for breakfast. The market is this old run down kinda deco style restraurant that is run by this cool lady, her son runs the flea market. After breakfast the son then told us what went down that morning....

Apparently another young guy that rents an apartment in the house next to the market and flea market was all distraught over his girlfriend and started shooting a gun. Well someone called the police and soon the SWAT team showed up in their Hummers. They evacuated everyone from the flea market because it sits right next to a propane gas company and they were afraid that a stray bullet might cause some explosions. The gun man wouldn't come out of the house until the SWAT team started shooting the windows out. He then surrendered.

The guy that was going around asking/threatening people about who called the police was a friend of the gun man and he was also packing aka carrying a gun.

Never a fuckin dull moment...

Our House

Finally posting pics of our house. Our house was built sometime in the late 1800's. The houses in this neighborhood were built for the families that worked at Sage Sawmill back in the lumbering hayday. The house first started as 4 rooms all together, living and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms up, heated with wood stoves. sometime in the early 1900's an addition was built on the back of the house that added a new kitchen/ dining room/ bathroom and a 3rd bedroom. The first photo was taken a year or two after I bought the house. Before I purchased the home it had been abandon for 10 yrs.

The second pic is of our big addition we built, which houses a new stairway/ computer room and upstairs second bath. The old stairway was so narrow and steep that you could barely get a single box spring matress up. Now we have a nice large stairway with a landing. I'll post inside pics sometime soon. The addition was built completely by my bf Scooby, other than the foundation which I had contracted out. I did help with the construction also, but Scooby was the mastermind and designer.

The final pic is the completion of our addition. If you notice we copied the original decortive accents from the front and added them to the addition. This consisted of me climbing to the top of the house on a ladder with a large piece of paper and crayon and doing a rubbing of the originals. Then Scooby made duplicates and I painted them.

This n that

We got alot done again today before I had to leave for work. First we managed to hang another piece of drywall on the back porch/summer living room area. Then got the baseboard attached and managed to get most of the wainscotting put up on the same wall. That is the last wall in that room that needs drywall and its been like that for years. It going to be so nice to be able to sit back there during the summer without having crap fall on our heads from the old exposed nasty wall. The crap I refer to is blow in insulation and very old deteriorated black felt and black dirt/dust ect..

I've about worn out all the cd's I have in my car so I turned on the local hard rock station and was surprised to find that there still playing the same music they did when I listen to them 10 or so years ago. I heard an old STP song when Scott Weiland was still in the band. You know when he was still HOT instead of the emaciated sketelon he is today. God every time I see him these days I cringe and think to myself, I was once was sexually attracked to him?

I was getting out of my car to go into my building today and these two very cute young guys in a truck was pulling through the parking lot and yelled at me. Of course me being the deaf person I am I had to ask them to repeat what ever they were asking me. They then asked me if I wanted a home entertainment system new in the box. I'm like, dudes I don't have any money and they're like whatever you can get out of you atm. Apparently they install these systems and the warehouse gave them one to many. I really wasn't interested and was going to be late for work if I took any longer so I declined their offer. If there wouldn't of been a couple of employees in the parking lot with in ear shot I was half tempted to tell them, "Guys I'm so poor all I could offer you for the system would be 100. bucks plus a couple of blow jobs". They were that cute and I am that horny. But I've never propositioned a straight guy before and am a little leary of doing so, and plus there were employees in the parking lot so it didn't happen. Nice dream though.

When I was a little kid I sucked my thumb...alot. It now makes me think did all little boys who sucked their thumb turn out to be as orally fixated as I am?

The Tiger lilly man

When I first moved to Bay City some 15 yrs. ago I'd go over and help out my friend Thurston on his house. One day he was complaining about his yard and not knowing what to do with it. The one side had a clump of tiger lillies and the other side that was shaded most of the time was dirt. The dirt side was only a four foot path to the back yard with a 3 ft. sidewalk. That day I told him that I'd transplant some of his tiger lillies on the other side of the house along the sidewalk in exchange for taking some home.

Once I was done and got home I planted the lillies here and there through out the yard. And they flourished. Now every spring I'm thinning them out and being the recycler that I am, the clumps that I'm getting rid of I bag up in grocery bags and set out to the street with a sign "Free Tiger Lillies". They only sit out there for about an hour before someone stops and scoops them up and takes them to their future new home.

I've been doing this for years. This year it occurred to me, "I wonder if people think of me as the Tiger lillie man". Probably...but hey I could think of worse things to be called.

Weekend review

First of all my rash is finally gone. YEA! I'm beginning to think it was probably the dye/fluid that they gave me for the CT scan little over a week ago.

We got so much shit done this weekend.

First we got the sideyard fence expansion done. We've had the two extra fence panels for several years now. They've been sitting in the side yard proped up against the fence and luckily they faded enough that they almost matched the old fence.

Second we got a couple of pieces of drywall hung on the back porch wall. Enough that we were able to hang the old cupboard up that we just got a couple of weeks ago. God did that free up alot of space on the back porch. Granted its still packed full of shit but not as much now. Hoping to get moved back out there for the summer in a month. Fingers crossed.

And last but not least I got all 20 bags of mulch spread out over all my planting areas. I did this Sunday morning because traffic is nill at that time. I hate working out in the front yard when traffic it heavy. Like I've said in the past we are right near a busy corner and when the light is red everyone is usually rubber necking and checking out what I'm doing. Only a couple of times has someone yelled "Faggot" at me, but I still only like to work out in the front yard on Sunday mornings. I guess I'm just self consious that way.

I've also had an realization or epiphany. Considering that I've dealt on and off with depression since I was a kid. I've finally come to the conclusion that there is something about depression that only makes you remember the shitty things that has happened through out your life. At least for me that is. I know I've let shit in the past bother me for so long that I have difficulty remember the good things. So I've got to start focusing on the positve events in my life and hopefully it will help when I do go through my down time.

Connect the dots

By last night my rash had mutliplied to the point that my torso just looked like I had a sunburn. All the little red dots decided to join hands and become one. The benadryl must finally be working cuz last night it had started to climb up my neck, but by this morning my neck was clear again. Today I noticed that the redness is starting to fade. Thank fuckin god.

I swear to god it looked like I had small pox. Or at least I think its small pox. I saw some documentary a while ago on germ warfare and they showed pics of people with this awful red rash thing that I think was small pox. Anyhoo its slooowly going away. Yea! I don't know if its the benadryl or what but I'm dragging ass today. I was planning on getting the holes dug for the sideyard fence expansion today but was just to tired to do it. Hopefully tommorrow.

It's the Itchy and Scratchy Show

I don't know what I did yesterday but 90% of my body is covered in a rash of little tiny red dots. Thank god its not on my face. Scooby and I were trying to figure it out and we've narrowed it down to possibly the fish that I ate yesterday or I possibly got in contact with something out in the yard while I was weeding and spreading mulch. Who knows.... I ran to Walgreens and picked up some Benadryl, but it doesn't seem to have kicked in yet.

In other news... I've been battling fucking crabs for a month now. Those fuckers are about to drive me crazy. It's not like I'm infested or anything but considering my OCD I might as well be. It started a month after we got back from NOLA. I discovered three of the little fuckers in my armpit. No place else just my god dammed armpit. I had just tricked with someone a couple of days before. Basically it was just a blow job but we were naked and I rested my arm on his hairy leg. Scooby's about hairless and hadn't been with anyone since NOLA, checked himself and had nothing.

So then I go through the routine of washing all the beding, towels, clothes and doing the RID thing. Searched and destoyed the eggs. Then followed up with RID a week later and thought I got rid of the little fuckers. Then a week or two ago I found more fucking eggs around my navel. FUCK!!! Went through the whole routine again, except this time I opened up a large trash bag stood inside of it, pulled out the clippers and clipped myself from my neck to mid thigh to make sure I got rid of all the eggs. Then tied up the bag of hair and through it away. This time I only found one of the little buggers.

Yesterday I found one more and one egg. FUCK!!!! I've done 4 loads of laundry today and the RID thing again. This better be it, cuz I've fucking had it. I've checked and checked and even picked at one of my moles until it bled. I now understand why porn guys shave their bodies. Furry guys and multiple sex partners are just a recipe for disaster.

So I'm clipped down and covered in a rash. What the fuck is next....mange

Good News

Well that CT scan came out clear. Yea! Of course right before I found out I got one of my 30 second stabbing headaches. Luckily they last less than a minute then I'm ok. Still makes me think WTF! So basically its in my head....but not in my head. So whatever.

God I've got to get out of this blah mood. I was hoping to at least post some pics this week but Scooby rebuilt the computer and now "Hello" won't work...so no pics until that's figured out, unless I jump through hoops on the laptop. Which I would basically have to send a pic to my email on the computer then go to the laptop and post. Ugh Sorry but thats too much work.

Been looking for someone to refinish our bathtub in the bathroom we are remodeling. Some friends of ours just had theirs done but the guy fucked it up and never came back to fix it.
Note: Never hire someone out of the phone book if they don't have:
1.) an address printed,
2.) name of business,
3.) only have a 1-800 number.
These are red flags people. I always check people out with the Better Business Bureau before hiring. Our friends did get a P.O. Box from the fraudulent tub refinisher. They then called the BBB after the fact and found he had a long list of complaints.

Spent this weekend sorting through more crap in the attic. I also got the back wall of the sun porch cleared away of crap so we can start hanging drywall sometime soon. Our same friends (above) stopped in a few weeks ago to check out our yard sale and we ended up buying a big ass fucking cabinet from them which we are going to attach to the back porch wall. If it wasn't for that big ass cabinet we probably wouldn't of planned on getting drywall up anytime soon. So Yea!

Last Mark Weigle pic

Posted by Picasa

This is the last pic of Mark for my Mark Weigle week. God I love his furry body and those eyes....

The CT scan went smoothly today. Its nothing like you see on TV. First of all it's no longer a big tube that you go into. Instead its a big donut type machine. And its not loud at all like they show on tv/movies either. The one weird part is they gave me an IV and shot some cold liquid in my arm then hooked some kind of electical cord up to the IV. Weird. Then they slowly stuck my head in and out of the donut hole. I felt like a human dildo.

Should find out the results in about a week.

Have a great weekend!

Having my head examined

Haven't posted anything this week cuz I'm just feeling blah. Last night I finally thought of something to post that was witty and funny but by the time I finished, Blogger went down for maintenance and everything was lost. And I can't remember it verbatem so maybe next week.

Went to the Dr. today for my quarterly visit.

CD4...750
viral load...undetectable

Which is basically no change, which is good. My Cholesteral is down also which is good, I don't remember what the actual points were. Then we started talking about side effects. Come to find out that even though I had a headache for the entire first month when I started Viracept the ones I'm getting now are not related. Granted I've had migrains since I was 4 yrs old, but recently they can last from 30 seconds to over a week. I also mentioned how my short term memory is getting bad. Example: At work if I'm asked to do something, I have to do it right that minute or write it down or else I will forget. Also finally mentioned the fantom smells of dog shit that I've been having. I totally forgot to mention the occasional ringing in the ears and seeing spots, something my mom had also.

Considering my mother, aunt and grandfather all died of brain tumors, guess what I'm having tomorrow. If you guessed CT scan your correct. Tomorrow at 10:30am I'm going in to literally have my head examined. I don't know what to think. I'm kind of scared of the out come. The question thats plagued me will finally be anwsered. The Mayo clinic my mom was diagnosed at said hers probably had been around for years and just started growing. I'd rather discover it early then too late like the others on my mothers side.

I gotta look though all my boxes of stuff and see where I put my PMA (positive mental attitude). I've got to prepare my self for better or worse cuz I was not prepared when I found out 10 yrs ago that I was HIV. La La La I went in to get my yearly HIV test results and WHAM. I was sooo not expecting testing POZ and I don't want to be surprised like that again. So I'm trying to feel indifferent to it and considering my memory is fucked, it shouldn't be a problem....

Sorry for the bummer, but thats what's new with me this week. I really am doing ok with this so... Don't cry for me Ike and Tina.

Excerpt from "Nasty Bizness"

Got my face pressed to the tile floor
of the rest stop bathroom stall
One in the saddle and 5 in line
You know I'm gonna take 'em all
Its a nasty bizness
And I'm the guy to do it/get it done
Nasty bizness
Lets get on down to it/lets have some filthy fun

Press that wedding ring into my head
Hold my face down to your root
She been on the rag all week
And now your ready to shoot
Lucky me getting your seed
I feel like a thief
The nitty gritty, it ain't pretty
When a man needs some relief

I just got another one of his CD's "Different and the Same" and it has a song called AZT on it which is sung to the tune of "ABC" by the Jackson 5. I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants....

AZT written by Maurice Kelly of The Kinsey Sicks

My doctors said my T-cells.... were getting kind of low

She said now boy we gotta try.... to make those babies grow

She looked inside her big book....of pharmacology

And wrote not one prescription,.... she gave me 63!

AZT, and then you got…

DDC, oh don’t forget…

D4T

3TC

Vitamin C for your

HIV, girl.

I ran on down to Walgreens.... to pick up all my pills

My viral load is tiny.... compared to all these bills

For each of these new potions.... I pay a hefty fee

This life-prolonging therapy... will be the death of me

Ritonivir

Nelfinivir

Saquinivir

Acyclovir

Indinivir

Norvir

Let’s give a cheer for Trizivir!

Cumma cumma cumma gimme Protease Inhibitors!!

At 5 a.m. I wake up... to start the day’s routine

Pills in pretty colors;.... white, red, yellow, green

At noon it’s time for 6 more,.... at dinner I take 8

Which leaves from 9-9:01.... to pee or masturbate

That’s how easy drugs can be

…except for lipodystrophy

Mark Weigle artist of the week

Posted by Picasa

I'm dedicating this week to the out and extremely WOOFY singer Mark Weigle. I recently got his double CD Soul Sex which includes Wrestling the Angle and Versatile CD's. His songs range from country to rock. He even sings a parady of "Baby got back" called "Buddy got Gut" dedicated to all his bear friends.

The Versatile CD is down right NASTY! And I fuckin I love it!

Here's a few lines from "Mr. Trucker Man":

"Hey there Mr. Trucker man
I heard your zipper fallin'
I come runnin' across this lot
Just to see what you've been hauling

Hey there Mr. Trucker man
Wanna lighten up your load?
Peel back that fat gearshift
And drop it down my throat"

ARGH!

Earlier this week I looked across the street and noticed that the marquee sign at the church said they were having a rummage sale Friday and Saturday. Several weeks ago I considered having a sale this holiday weekend but then decided that there was no way that I'd be able to be ready, so I postponed it till Memorial day weekend.

After seeing the church sign I thought I've got to have it this weekend that way I'll get most of the people that are going to go to their sale. So all this week I've been frantically gathering up shit and pricing it. Hauling all the big heavy shit from upstairs to the foyer which included a: dresser, chest of drawers, home gym, fireplace mantel ect..

Today I look out at their sign to see what time their sale starts, and its been changed. Their fucking sale was last weekend, not this weekend. FUCK!!! To top it all off its suppose to rain tomorrow. Double FUCK! I think its only suppose to rain in the morning so we're gonna plan on having it anyway. Saturday is suppose to be nice.

God I hope all the big heavy shit sells.

Thursday night Freakout

I got home from work last night and the cat was freaking out in the kitchen. He was meowing up a storm and was totally focused on the area above the kitchen sink. Scooby held him up in the air so he could see closer/better. That didn't satisfy him.

Scooby then mentioned that he might of seen a bat in the attic earlier. I'm like "WHAT". He then said, "I think it got out". I'm like, "O...K..."

Let me just say now people, that you don't really know your partner completely until you put him in a room with a bat.

Then I see it...fly into the room, do a circle and fly back into the kitchen.

Me: SHIT! There is a bat in here!
Scooby: Wha...Wha...WHAT! A BAT! WHERE....WHERE

The bat flys back in and this is when Scooby starts screaming like a little girl. I look at him with amazement and think, "Who are you?, and what have you done with my manly man". We hit the floor, Sccoby grabs the cat and gets him out of the room. We turn on the lights, which in the past has made a bat chill and try to hide. NOT THIS ONE He flew and flew and flew, as we screamed and ducked out of his way.

The fucker was flying really low too.

The bat finally lands and hangs upside down on the wood on the ceiling in the dining room/winter living area. I then go in the kitchen and open the windows, hoping he'll fly outside. I then tell Scooby that I'm going to go try and find the tennis rackets to try and catch it. While I do that he gets a garbage bag and tears it open like a small tarp. I can't find the rackets but grab some towels instead, as I hear crashing and thudding in the bat cave.

I reenter and the bat is still flying around and Scooby's whipping at it with the plastic garbage bag. I tell him to try not to piss the bat off. So for awhile we are ducking and trying to throw towels on the bat as it flys past our heads. The bat then flys and lights on the window in the dining room, and Scooby goes to open the window forgetting that he insisted on getting full screens on those windows. He then yells at me to go outside and pull the screen off the window. I do it, all the while expecting the bat to fly in my face as I remove the screen. Luckily it didn't or else the whole neighborhood would of heard me screaming like a little girl also.

I then go look for the tennis rackets again. In the meantime Scooby manages to get it in a towel and get it outside. We go back inside and sit down and try to get our hearts to stop pounding out of our chests.

So if you ever get a bat in your house just chase it around till all parties are tired, including the bat.

Another beautiful day and I actually felt good enough to spend some time outside cleaning up the yard before I went to work. YEA!

Last night at work after several hours of kick ass pain in my side, I finally decided to head over to the med center to get it checked out. The Dr. gave me a script for Tylenol. Why bother.... He also wanted me to go this morning to the hospital to get a CAT scan at 8am. Fuck that..... By midnight last night I was feeling better and I don't think my health ins. covers CAT scans with out a second opinion. Needless to say it didn't happen.

Feeling better, weathers warming up and so is my mood. double Yea!

Ugh

Had a severe migraine all last week. So stupidly I got shit faced this weekend to dull the pain and then spent an entire night throwing my guts up. Only making the migraine worse.

It was 60 degrees monday and I was to sick to enjoy it. Now I think I've got kidney stones again considering how much pain my side is in. Will blog more later once I'm feeling better.

What happened to Louise?

Ok this is how dislexic I am. I have always thought actress/comedian Julia Louie Dreyfuss's middle name was Louise. I just discovered my error this week. God I'm such a dumbass.

In other news:

Don't ever try to argue with people who are too pig headed to listen. Mainly Christians.

I made the mistake of asking evil nieces sister (my other niece) when she was going to be up so I could avoid her. And she came back with a nasty email saying they wanted to avoid me also because of my comment earlier in the year about having to get a Will draw up so my estate would be left to Scooby instead of their mother. They were appalled to think that I would think they would take everything and leave Scooby with nothing.

Of course they both told me a few months earlier that, "That they do not and will not support the homosexual lifestyle".

Ok they do not support me but will hand over everything to my boyfriend? That doesn't make sense. And I told them that.

Back in January I tried to explain to them that because of organizations like the AFA that I'm being denied equal rights to marry or have a civil union/ or even to adopt. Plus I could get fired from a job ect..

Evil neice came back with, "It's not the homosexuals that are under fire, its religion."

Do you think she could back that up. No, and she felt she didn't need to.

Its days like today I wish I would have been an orphan.

The parade and other shit

Started drinking about noon on Sunday. Went to the parade at 2pm, luckily it was walking distance cuz nobody wanted to drive. Got home and preceded to get shit faced. Sometime that evening Scooby put an old war helmet on my head. Dam thing was fucking heavy and I kept falling over in my chair. I think everyone had a good time... The only good thing about the parade was the guys in their kilts. There is something about seeing those furry stocky legs, it makes me go Woof!

I repeated the joke that I read at Joe My God, about why playing the bagpipes is gay, because their blowing on a stick and squeezing a furry sac. Well I must have told it too loud cuz the straight family near us decided to move away. Oops

My evil neice is going to be in town next week. This is the one that I had a falling out with back in January after she suggested several organizations that would "cure me" of my homosexuality. Fucking bitch! I hope to zod she doesn't stop by my dad's place next Tuesday when I'm there. Dad doesn't know about our feud and I'd really like to keep him out of it. Buuuut if I see her I might feel the need to tell her to fuck off. Sorry dad.... If she gets there before I do I'll just keep on driving and won't stop. Another sorry dad. I really hope I don't see her, but if it happens it happens.

Happy St. Patricks Day!!

Sunday is our Cities parade. Several of us are planning on attending. It's been at least 10 yrs since I've gone, Scooby has never been. So weather permitting it should be fun. Afterwards we're having a hotdog party, using our hotdog steamer we won on Ebay last fall.

The parade was always fun from what I can remember. A bunch of people drinking beer and getting drunk watching a parade. My kind of party!

Weekend recap

Got up Saturday morning and went to play with one of my regulars. Actually it was the first time this year, with me being on vacation and being sick the entire month of Feburary we just didn't have a chance till now.

Then the fun began. Got home and Scooby was awake by then so we headed to the rental center to rent a pipe snapper. Got home and spent the rest of the day playing GI Joe in the crawl space under the house. First removal of the old sewer pipes. YUCK! I did manage to bring garbage bags down so we snapped the pipe in managable pieces bagged them up and dragged them out. We also cut and pulled all the old water and drain lines out. The original drain lines were so horribly put together that one time I ground up potatoe skins in the garbage disposal in the kitchen and they came up in the old tub. Not suppose to happen if done right.

We managed to get the new bathroom hooked up to the point we at least had a toilet, sink and tub. Then Sunday Scooby got the kitchen sink and washer hooked back up, while I started gutting the old bathroom. I managed to get everything out but the tub . Took out the drop ceiling and with that came the plaster above also.

I'll be blowing dirt out of my nose forever, I'm afraid, and I wore a mask. Even my eyeballs were gritty. Hoping to have the shower up and running this week. I'm definately not doing anymore destruction until it is.

Response to Anonymous

This was an anonymous comment on my "I have a dream" entry

Anonymous said...
Maybe if you had a clue as to what you wanted to do with your life you would'nt have to complain about food stamps and eating out more than once a month. You should be pleased that Scooby gets food stamps, without those would you even be able to eat? Stop waiting for the world to wait on you and get off of your asses and make something of your lives other than fucking everything that has two legs and a dick....

First of all my "I have a dream" entry wasn't about complaining. It was about having hope and dreaming about getting out of this rut and getting out of the repressive mid Michigan area.

You are right about me not having a clue about what I want to do in my life. As a child I was never encouraged or complimented on anything by my family. I suffered with ADD and dyslexia which made learning unbareable. Back in the 70's they didn't have those learning disabilty labels, you were just considered stupid. Kids were mean which also made school suck and by the time I got out I couldn't bear to continue on with college.

As for food stamps I'm fucking giddy that Scooby gets them, if it weren't for that I'd still be scrounging through peoples waste baskets at work looking to see if their half eaten lunch was better than the cereal and salad that I've been eating forever.

As for "waiting for the world". I've been working multiple jobs since I was 16. I have never been without work for more than a week. And for the last 15 years almost all my spare time has been spent on restoring and refurbishing my 1880's home. This house is the only thing that's keeping us here, and when its finished it's going up for sale. Have you even been reading this blog....I own one house and have been futively trying to buy a second one. I hardly think that I'm "waiting for the world to wait on me".

As for my sex life. The majority of the action happens on vacation. Which normally we can only afford to go on once a year. At home, I have my bf plus two regular guys I play with and two guys that are "now and then" playmates. I'm hardly fucking everything with two legs and a dick....I fucking wish.

And one last thing, I'm not superficial, a guy doesn't have to have legs for me to fuck them.....

fucking tired

I fucked the hell out of Scooby last night. Didn't get to bed/sleep until after 3am. Then he wakes me five hours later at 8am wanting more. Of course once I'm awake I'm up for the day, so I fuck him silly again.

Once I got to work it hit me. I'm so fuckin tired I can't think straight. To top it off my legs are barely holding me up. My hips and knees ache and my legs are numb to the point I've been taking the elevator instead of the stairs.

I'm definately going to bed earlier tonight.

In other news: I guess I've been too bitchy and whiny lately, people are starting to delete me from their blog lists. Oops....Sorry..I'll try to be more upbeat from now on. I'll have to take my momma's advice, "If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all".

I have a dream that:

I will someday live in a cultural and diverse metropolis.
In this new place I won't dread looking out the window on a winter morning.
In this Metropolis Scooby will be able to find a full time job.
and be able to get off food stamps.
I will find a job that is enjoyable and fun instead of frusterating and discouraging.
I won't have to dig returnables out of the trash for beer money.
We will be able to go out to eat more than once a month.
We will someday be able to afford a social life.
We will someday love where we live.

Cabin Fever rant and self doubt

January/February and somtimes March are the worst fuckin months of the year. At least for me mentally. I'm so fuckin tired of being stuck in the fuckin house for the last four months its driving me crazy. I want to be outside in the sun, unfortunately its only 30 degrees and its too fuckin cold. Being cold and stuck in the house so long makes me bitter and I'm tire of being both cold and bitter.

We still haven't found out anything on the house down south. The thought of actually getting it scares me because I don't know if we can handle another project. But I guess being scared is a good thing? I'm so burned out at work and it didn't help that someone tampered with my timeclock so I now have to stay later. Granted it's only five minutes but with a sucky mostly thankless job, 5 minutes is an eternity. God I'm going to be 40 this year and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. Other than get the fuck out of this cold.

Last weekend

Last week we got a call from one of our friends that we haven't seen since we've been back from NOLA. They called to see if we we're busy Sunday night. We weren't, so the plan was for him to come over and we'd have a few drinks and play catch up.

Saturday morning we head out to the local home center to get a few last minute plumbing supplies in order to get ready to hook up our new bathroom and disconnect the old one. Once we move to the new bathroom we are going to completely redo the old bathroom. We get home about 11am and there are two messages from above mentioned friend, saying "Wake up, what ya doing, get out of bed" ect.

So we call and he announces that Sunday plans are changed and that we're all going to a boat show and then he and his other half are going to bring stuff over to cook and drink. I tell him that we are planning on working on the house that day and if we get drunk on Saturday we'll be too hung over to work on the house on Sunday. He convinces us to forget working on the house and that they will be over in an hour, that was at noon.

2pm we get a call. They had just left his boyfriends house and they needed to stop at his place, then to the store and they would be over around 4pm. WTF... We could of got at least some shit done around the house had we known that they were going to be over at 4pm instead of 1pm. Shit like this irks the fucking hell out of me. Like we have nothing better to do than sit around all day and wait on someone else.

They arrive at 4pm with cocktails and ribs to cook on the grill. We aren't big grillers, hotdogs, hamburgers and chicken...yes...ribs we have no idea how to cook them. Plus we are both just getting over colds, and its like fucking maybe 30 degrees outside. They were expecting us to cook the meat, no sorry. We are both HIV, getting over colds and its 30 degrees outside. We have no business standing around outside in our condition at these tempratures. Think...people...think.

Scooby made Bloody Mary's and Martini's and we threw together our potato/pepper dish as our friends some what reluctantly cooked the ribs on the grill outside. The drinks lightened all of our moods, the food was fabulous, and we ended up having a good time.

Don't know what happened about the plans to go to the boat show, it was never mentioned.

Last chance

Well it looks like the only way we're gonna get the house in NOLA is if I win the 10 mil. from Publishers Clearing House. The giveaway is tommorrow on "Fat Tuesday".

Driving through Mississippi 101

On our way home from New Orleans we had the pleasure of driving through Mississippi. Shortly after we entered the state we were pulled over. The reason...apparently I swerved. I know I didn't swerve, maybe wavered a bit, but I didn't go over the lines. I didn't argue. He asked me to step out of the car and took me to the back and asked:
Where we were coming from? "New Orleans".
Who's the guy with you? "My partner".
Have you been drinking? No.
Have you been doing drugs? No, just cold medicine, I think I might have pnuemonia, (condsidering the way my lungs hurt).
If I search your car will I find anything? No
I'll be alot easier on you if you tell the truth.
Do you have a large amount of cash on you? No not really.
How much? About $250. bucks to get us home on.
Any drugs? No
Any paraphanalia? Um.....yes.

We had just bought a couple of one hitters and rolling papers as gifts for friends while we were in New Orleans.

He asked to search the car. I don't know my rights in MS, but I knew we had no drugs and figured that he'd just postpone us more and get a search warrent if I said no. So I agreed to the search. Our car was packed to the titts and he went through practically everything. He was nice enough to at least put most everything back.

He confiscated our paraphanalia and also both of Scooby's tobacco pipes, and his antique pipe lighter all of which he inherited from his grandfather. Told us that he was going to let us off this time. Apparently paraphanalia is a 1,000 fine per person in MS. Also told us if he ever pulls us over again that he'll take us in next time.

After we were let go, we ended up seeing several out of state vehicles pulled over and being searched. Scary.... From now on we won't have paraphanalia of any kind on us.

Needless to say I will never spend a fucking dime in the state of Mississippi again. It takes a full tank of gas to drive the entire state, so I'll make sure to fill up before we cross the state line. I really wish there was a way to get to NOLA with out even going into MS, but its too far out of our way.

I told this story to a friend of ours from Louisianna and they said luckily they didn't have to come bail us out of one of those "INFAMOUS MISSISSIPPI DETENTION CENTERS".

I had no clue the state was like this. Obviously Hollywood does a "right on the mark" portayal of southern cops.

A dream is just that

Well its been a roller coaster of a week. We made an offer on the fixer upper in New Orleans and it was accepted. I found out this week that no banking instituion will do a mortgage on a house that isn't "move in" ready. Especially if the roof is tarped over. Fuck 90% of the roofs in New Orleans are tarped right now. Several of the banking institutions didn't even return my calls.

I thought that I could borrow against my retirement.....Nadda Even if I lost my job I couldn't touch my retirement until I'm 55 and then I could only access 10% made in payments over 9 yrs.... I don't have enough equity to borrow it off the house in Michigan either.

So basically we're fucked. Trying to have an American dream is too frusterating, I don't know why I bother. I might as well get used to the fact that I will probably be stuck here forever. The thought of it makes me sick to my stomach, but what choice do I have. Thought about just renting down there but rent in the non effected areas has tripled since Katrina.

I have a few more calls to make but I'm not holding my breath.

Greetings from New Orleans

Hey babies how ya all doing? We made it down in one piece I managed to beat the cold before it beat me. Its been quite abit colder than it was during Christmas, but its suppose to warm up though out the week. We looked at our first house yesterday. Definately a fixer upper but nothing we can't handle. Gonna go back and take another look later this week and check out another place or two while we are at it.

Made the mistake of having "the hair of the dog" Saturday afternoon and continued on till I "crossed over" and expierenced an improper dismount off my barstool and ended up flat on my back.... That was about 6pm, the first parade of the Mardi Gras started at 7pm. So needless to say I missed the fucking parade and am still kicking myself over it.

After depositing me back at the apartment, Scooby headed back to the Phoenix and ended up getting put to work as the doorman checking id's for the evening. We haven't even moved down here and he's already working...definately a good sign.

Well thats all for now. Hope everyone has a Happy Valentines Day. I already spent the morning pounding Scooby into the mattress. So he's a happy little dog.

See ya

Somewhere in Memphis there's one tired puppy

Everyone's been coming in to work sick lately making the building that I clean one big cesspool of germs. Monday I kept hearing someone coughing up chunks of their lung. Here I'm going on vacation Friday......thanks alot! By late Monday night I had started to develope a sore throat......Great! I decided then that I was going home sick and that I wasn't coming back this week. So I notified work that I'll be out sick for the rest of the week to try and beat this cold before my vacation starts on Friday.

I got home and Scooby and I turned the weather channel on and found that they were predicting a snow storm from here to down south on Wednesday. Sooooo we fled this morning. 12 hours on the road and we're 2/3 of the way there. We're sitting in a little motel down the street from Graceland. I'm drinking some "Airborne" and tending to my sore throat and blogging abit.

Greetings from Memphis

Great refrigerators of New Orleans

Imagine living in a city that everyone had to throw away there refrigerators all at once. This is what happened in New Orleans after Katrina when the electicity was shut off for months.

There were a few still setting out to the curb when we were there over Christmas. They had been out so long that people started using them as message boards looking for lost friends and loved ones. Others just to vent their disgust with the government and a place to show off their graffitti expertise.

Follow the link in the title to see a pic page of some of them.

I hate Michigan!

Tuesday morning...freezing rain causing accidents and traffic pile ups/back ups for at least 4 hours on the highway.

Friday night at work during my break I decided to get online and check email ect.. I was only online for about 20 min. and within that time it went from chilly and dry with no snow outside to 2 fucking inches+ of the white crap. It fucking snowed and snowed and snowed. After hours of the non stop blizzard I decided to head home an hour early cuz who knows how long it would take to get the 20 miles home. Luckily I left at the right time and the highway had just been plowed.

Decided to wait till morning to remove all the white shit. The snow was so fucking heavy that I almost blew up my little snow blower. With the help of Scooby we got the driveway and sidewalk cleared in about an hour. It warmed up during the day and melted some the the crap.

Saturday evening went out to pick up pizza for dinner and almost slipped on the severely icy stairs. Got salt out and salted the side steps and then headed to the front steps to salt them. What I didn't see is that the porch itself near the front steps was all icy and frozen over. And like a slap stick comedy I took one step on the icy porch and my feet flew right out from under me and I landed on the steps, with my elbows hitting first. At first I thought I broke both of my arms, but luckily their just very very sore.

After all this I told Scooby, "We are sooooo out of here!" I've had it with this cold fucking weather. We both can't stand to be cooped up in the house 6 months out of the year either.

SO the game plan is....We are going back down to New Orleans from Feb. 9-19 and looking at real estate. This is the perfect time, we now know what areas that we don't want to live, the flooded ones of course.

Hopefully this will be the last winter that we will spend in the God forsaken state of Michigan. Our friends think were crazy, but I'd rather be swept away in a hurricane or flood than deal with another fucking winter. At least down there you have plenty of warning and can leave before hand.

The link between Orange juice and homophobia

First of all Anita Bryant. She was the epitomy of Florida Orange Juice commericals back in the 70's and also main anti-gay campainist.

Second my homophobic niece gave me a coupon for a free container of Minutemaid Orange juice for Christmas. This is the niece that recently emailed me all the bible scriptures condemning homosexuality. She also sent me links to organizations that would reprogram me and save me from my sin of homosexuality. WTF!!! Needless to say she is so off my Christmas card list.

Third, After drinking a glass of the said OJ I did hate myself just a little. I dumped the rest down the drain. Unlike my niece, I am not a hypocrite and refuse to except any gifts from people who don't repect my life. I call her a hypocrite since she will not go to restraunts that sell alcohol, but she works for an Airline and flys everywhere on planes that sell alcohol. HYPOCRITE!

The return

Well I'm back. Scooby and I had a wonderful time in New Orleans. The city is battered but bouncing back. You can barely tell in the French Quarter that anything happened. There wasn't as much men down there this year so the sordid stories are few and will share soon.

In other news: I blew the door off my closet while I was on vacation. You see my family and I have a don't ask don't tell policy. Granted I take Scooby to all family functions and sign his name to all Christmas cards but nothing has every been discussed.

Well I sent an email to several friends and a few of the wrong family members about "The Book of Daniel" that is too air on NBC. Well my condemning bible banging bitch of a niece replied to it condemning us all. I skimmed though her email too angry and upset to actually read it, I figured I'd deal with it once I got home. Don't want to ruin my vacation vibes. Well little did I know that she sent it to everyone that was included in the first email I sent. Boy did that open up a can of worms, actually more like snakes. My friends and my two nieces have been feuding all week. They didn't like it at all having scripture thrown back in there face. Needless to say I have now excommunicated myself from my one sisters entire family. With a big long letter pointing out all there hypocriticies. Yea Me! I felt so good after writing it that I've decided to go off antidepressants.

This was a long time happening and much needed.

Postcard from the Past

Little Theatre Courtyard Posted by Picasa

Here's a old postcard that Sugar Daddy gave me for Christmas.
The back reads:

Unusually attractive courtyard of Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre, more popularly known as the "Little Theatre". It is located at 616 St. Peter Street and boasts a membership of some 2000 subscribers.

New Orleans- America's Most Interesting City

Don't think I'll be doing much more blogging till I get back from vacation on Jan. 7th. So hope everyone has a Happy Holiday! With all the hoopla there is lately about which holiday greeting should be used (stupid crazy christians). Scooby and I thought why not combine them so Happy Chriswanzakkah! Actually that sounds too much like swastika so maybe not...

OMG! I just saw the trailer for "Running with Scissors", Augusten Burroughs memoir of his crazy life growing up. Joseph Fiennes is playing his adult pedaphile boyfiend. And I think Annette Bening is playing his crazy lesbian mother. OMG! I can't wait to see the movie. Unfortunatly its not coming out till fall of 06.

WTF!! That's an awful long time to tease someone...

Here's a link to one of our favorite New Orleans stories, "The Adventures of Pukey Peggy". enjoy!

High

I'm so fucking high! Not drug or alcohol induced high, but a natural "last day of work" high. YEA! No more vacuuming and mopping up salt for the next 18 fucking days! I do have a 2 hour house cleaning job tomorrow but that's nuttin. This has got to be the longest time I've had off of work since I was 16....I think. God if I felt this good all the time, I could rule the world.

When I was really little we use to spend Christmas eve at my grandma's (mother's side) and Christmas day at my other grandma's (father's side). By the time I was in third grade my mom's mom had died and my dad had retired. Mom hated the winter's as much as I have come to, so we started snow birding out to Tucson. We'd stay in Michigan until Christmas then the day after we'd tear down the tree load up the trailer and hit the road...

Now. I have a job that gives me the week between Christmas and New Years off with pay and Scooby and I have been going to New Orleans for the last 4-5 yrs for a week over the Christmas Holiday. Funny how life repeats itself. I'm really trying to resist the urge to tear down the tree before we leave on vacation. I keep telling myself, we're going to be back in a week, I don't have to tear down the tree. It's not like when I was a kid and we we're gone till school got out for the summer.

I'm going to try and leave it up.

In other news....I sold one of my snowmen birdhouses today. Personally I thought that the Gallery was asking too much for them and didn't expect them to sell. Asking price...$42 bucks...ouch! I get $25 of that so I'm happy. Funny thing is it was bought by the person who used to run the Gallery...and I though she didn't really like me.

I can't believe how much I'm blogging. I used to post only twice a week. Now sometimes it's twice a day. Don't get used to it though cuz once I'm back from vacation and get done telling all the sorted tales of the event I'll probably fall into the winter blah's.

Gonna do a little bit of work on the house before we leave next week. Gonna try and at least crawl under the house and insulate the floors....and run some more water lines for the future second bathroom. Fun Fun

My favorite Christmas song

This has got to be the most annoying Christmas song ever and I love it...

Nuttin' For Christmas
S. Tepper, R. Bennett, 1955

I broke my bat on Johnny's head;
Somebody snitched on me.
I hid a frog in sister's bed;
Somebody snitched on me.
I spilled some ink on Mommy's rug;
I made Tommy eat a bug;
Bought some gum with a penny slug;
Somebody snitched on me.

Oh, I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas
Mommy and Daddy are mad.
I'm getting nuttin' for Christmas
'Cause I ain't been nuttin' but bad.

I put a tack on teacher's chair
somebody snitched on me.
I tied a knot in Susie's hair
somebody snitched on me.
I did a dance on Mommy's plants
climbed a tree and tore my pants
Filled the sugar bowl with ants
somebody snitched on me.

So, I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas
Mommy and Daddy are mad.
I'm gettin' nuttin' for Christmas
'Cause I ain't been nuttin' but bad.

I won't be seeing Santa Claus;
Somebody snitched on me.
He won't come visit me because
Somebody snitched on me.
Next year I'll be going straight;
Next year I'll be good, just wait
I'd start now, but it's too late;
Somebody snitched on me.

So you better be good whatever you do
'Cause if you're bad, I'm warning you,
You'll get nuttin' for Christmas.

Weekend recap

We went out to the "Berg" on Friday night and tried to drink the world. The place was packed with Holiday revelers. Stayed till close, went to an after bar party, drank more, then went home and had another drink. Partied till 8am...Oy vie. Slept till 3pm Saturday. After leaving the after bar party things got fuzzy....I think we had a three way, but I'm not sure.

One thing is for sure....No more after bar parties!

Good news and the Peppermint spray from Hell

First of all got some good news this week. We're going to be able to stay at our timeshare down in New Orleans. Not our 1 bedroom unit but the main floor effeciency, which is fine by us. Everyone thinks were crazy for going down there, but we don't care, it will feel good to help out their economy by spending money. Plus we'd rather spend the Holidays in a moldy city than up to our ass's in this fucking snow.

My God, we got so much fucking snow yesterday. I shoveled and snow blowed twice and by the time I got done I was too fucking tired to go to work. I got a letter from RCI (the timeshare trading co.) and their giving us a bonus week because of all the trouble with the hurricanes and all. So I think we're going to try and use it in NYC this coming year and stay at The Manhattan Club if they have an opening....sounds fancy.

One thing you all don't know about me is that I'm a garbage picker. I prefer recycler but what ever. It's now illegal at work to garbage pick but before it was I found a small bottle of peppermint spray for the bath. The directions on it read, "Spray into the steam of your shower". Well at the time I found it I sprayed it and WOW! was the shit potent. One little wiff and my sinus's opened up like they never have before. Well I took it home and Scooby and I used it as directed. What it didn't say was don't get it on your skin cuz it burns like a muther fucker.

I got it on me and it immediately disovled the soap bubbles on my arm. For hours after my arm felt all warm and tingely. We learned quickly that one spray was all you needed and preferably spray it over the shower curtain so it just got into the steam in the bathroom not in the shower.

What we failed to do was warn guest's.....

Our friend "K" hangs out with us and often crashes on our couch. Well he took a shower one morning and I was in the kitchen making coffee ect. and I started to smell the peppermint spray, but by that time it was too late. I figured, well he's not screaming so I guess he's ok. After his shower he came out and said WOW what the Hell is up with that spray. I apoligized then for not warning him...it completely slipped my mind. He then admitted that he sprayed it like 5 times in a row and then cowered in the bottom of the shower until it was gone. OUCH! He said that he learned a lesson and will never again use other people's bath products.

Today I took a shower and sprayed the stuff over the curtain like we have learned to do. Then after my shower I threw the towel that was on the floor over the tub and sat on it while I trimmed my nails. All of a sudden my ass was on fire. I thinking what the fuck, what the fuck, why is my ass on fire. Then it came to me that I sprayed the peppermint spray over the shower curtain and it directly fell onto the towel which I then sat on. I'll be God dammed... I tried to wash it off with a wet wash cloth...nadda. I then danced around the kitchen not knowing what to do as my ass tingled and burned. Scooby then recommened that I try some baby powder, cuz it's absorbent. Thank god it worked cuz it felt like it was burning me a new asshole....

Half nekkid Thursday

Posted by Picasa

I recently ran across RJ's blog What the... and he had half naked Thursday. So I thought I'd participate. Here's a pic of me taken today. Not as hot as the ones below that were taken 10 yrs ago I'm afraid.

Time has a way of doing things like that...
